Prof. Dr. Edda Müller is Chairperson of Transparency International Germany, which runs the Hochschulwatch project (University Watch), a Web portal inviting the public to report on university funding. Müller holds a doctorate in Public Administration. Chairperson of Transparency International Germany since July 2010; President of the German Consumers' Organization from 2001 until 2007; Deputy Director of the European Environment Agency, Copenhagen from 1998 until 2000; Head of the Department of Climate Policy of the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy from 1997 until 1998; Minister for Nature and Environment of the State of Schleswig-Holstein from 1994 until 1996. Additional posts in her administrative career: Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety; Federal Environmental Agency; Planning Division of the Office of the Federal Chancellor; Constitutional Department of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Edda Müller published numerous papers concerning environmental, climate and consumer policy and the political balance of interests in modern democracies.
